Burn The Floor - International Dance Sensation

The Coast's live entertainment scene is heating up with the official opening of Burn The Floor on Thursday night.

The sizzling production is a feast for the eyes with more sparkling dresses, sequined bras and sculpted abs than you can shake a stick at.

And the intoxicating blend of Latin American Ballroom dance will keep your heart pounding featuring choreography by the internationally famed Jason Gilkison whose work recently thrilled audiences on So You Think You Can Dance in Australia and the United States.

But it's the dancing and the dancers' personalities that will grab and hold your attention from the opening salsa number to the big and bright finale.

Western Australian dancer Steven Rogers was a hoot in his cheeky jive to The Cat Empire's Fishies, where he attempts to dance with four lovely ladies.

So You Think You Can Dance Australia finalists Kieran McMahon and Jessica Prince were clearly crowd favourites with fans yelling out their names during their contemporary duet to Burn For You, the ballad made famous by John Farnham.

Following sell-out tours in Las Vegas, the West End and on Broadway, captivating more than 30 countries and more than three million audience members worldwide, this 90-minute red-hot dance revival will leave you gasping for more.

It's over: Tiger and Elin spit for good

NINE months after their private lives crashed into public view, Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren have announced that their divorce is final.

In a joint statement released by their lawyers, the couple said: "We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future. While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and always will be, of paramount importance to both of us."

The details of the settlement were not disclosed but reports suggest Elin, could receive up to $500 million in one of the most expensive divorce settlements in history.

Tiger, one of the world's leading golfers, who confessed to a series of affairs that destroyed his image as a virtuous role model, will share custody of his children, Sam Alexis, three, and Charlie Axel, one, with their Swedish mother Elin.

Lawyers for the pair said that their divorce became final yesterday when a judgment was entered in Bay County Circuit Court, near the Florida state capital of Tallahassee.

It was 320km away that Woods crashed his Cadillac SUV into a fire hydrant while driving away from his home near Orlando in the early hours of November 27 last year.

Tiger initially said the reasons for the accident were private "and I want to keep it that way". However, in the prolonged media storm that followed at least 12 women came forward claiming to be current or former lovers of the golfer, among them a New York nightclub hostess, two porn actresses, two waitresses and a lingerie model.

One of the women, Rachel Uchitel, has since received $10 million in a deal brokered by the Los Angeles celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred, apparently in return for her silence.

Early in the saga that took Tiger out of professional golf for five months, it emerged that Elin had bought a house without him on a Swedish island accessible only by ferry or private boat.

Tiger agreed to have treatment for sex addiction at a clinic in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, earlier this year, when American tabloid newspapers reported that a reconciliation with Elin was on the cards.

His decision to return to golf in April is thought to have persuaded her, however, that he was not serious enough about spending more time with his family. His first press conference after the scandal was widely mocked for his maudlin scripted apologies to family and fans.

Tiger is now struggling to return to his level of achievement prior to the scandal, and has been winless on the golf course this year.

Love The Way You Lie

WANT a glimpse of what it was like to be Marshall and Kim Mathers? Watch the video for Eminem’s No. 1 duet with Rihanna "Love The Way You Lie" that chronicles his tumultuous relationship with his ex-wife.

“Just gonna stand there and watch me burn, but that's alright because I like the way it hurts," sings Rihanna. That poignant line seems to be the inspiration behind the accompanying video, which premiered earlier this month.

The Joseph Kahn-directed clip depicts A-list actress Megan Fox as a sometimes-vulnerable, sometimes-confrontational Mrs. Eminem, and Dominic Monaghan, who plays Charlie Pace on Lost, takes on Eminem's persona.

The heated exchanges between Megan and Dominic are both captivating and intense. In one moment, they’re making passionate love to each other, and in another, they’re getting physically violent and launching at each other in utter odium. But true to the song's lyrics, they stay together.

In between scenes, a red-haired Rihanna - who recently told Access Hollywood that the song was something she "needed" to do following the very-public assault at the hands of former boyfriend Chris Brown - is singing the chorus while standing in front of a burning house and Eminem is rapping his pertinent lyrics from a desolate field before joining Rihanna.

Eminem said it was tough making the video work. "Joseph and I worked pretty closely together to make sure we got this right," Eminem said in a statement. "Trying to make this tough subject work visually is a challenge. It was great to have Rihanna, Megan and Dominic on board for this."

When Rihanna received the call to sing on the Eminem song, she jumped at the opportunity. "It's something that, you know, [Eminem and I have] both experienced, you know, on different sides, different ends of the table," she told Access Hollywood.

It was only last year when Rihanna was involved in the domestic dispute with Chris Brown that resulted in a felony assault charge against Chris. But her own experiences did not deter her from recording the song.

"It was just authentic. It was real," she adds. "It was believable for us to do a record like that, but it was also something that needed to be done, and the way he did it was so clever. He pretty much just broke down the cycle of domestic violence, and it's something that a lot of people don't have a lot of insight on, so this song is a really, really powerful song, and it touches a lot of people."

Dominic, a big Eminem fan, worked hard preparing for the role. He told MTV he listened to Eminem's first two albums, and tried to get into a "nasty, dirty" frame of mind.

As the clip aims at highlighting the dangers of an abusive relationship and, indirectly, delivers the message that it's better to walk out before it's too late, Megan admirably donated her fee for appearing in the video to the Santa Monica, California based Sojourn a program for battered women and their children.

It's official: Supermodel Miranda Kerr is PREGNANT!

AUSTRALIAN supermodel Miranda Kerr has confirmed the fashion industry's worst-kept secret: she's pregnant.

The news has filtered in from Spain, where Miranda gave an interview to the local edition of Vogue magazine.

"Yes, I am pregnant. Four months along," the 27-year-old revealed. But Miranda and her new husband, actor Orlando Bloom, admitted it had been difficult to keep the news private.

"I remember on one occasion in the early days when it was still too soon to say anything and I had a dreadful time at one job," she told Spanish Vogue, referring to morning sickness during the first trimester.

Speculation has been rife for months after the Hollywood couple raced down the isle in a private ceremony in the Caribbean in July – only one month after getting engaged.

Although, Miranda has never made any secret of her desire to start a family opening up about a future vision in an interview with Fairfax Media in 2008.

"My ideal situation would be to live on a farm in a solar-powered house with a hammock and a vegetable patch. When this is all over, that's where I'll be. I've always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen."

Justin Bieber takes revenge on Twitter hacker!

Kevin Kristopik, the Detroit teen who hacked into Justin Bieber’s Twitter account and sneakily got his personal phone number, has apologised after Justin took out some serious revenge on him.

The Biebs posted Kevin's personal number on his Twitter page, saying “Everyone call me 248 -- XXXXXXX) or text.”

Though Justin deleted the tweet a few minutes later, Kevin received countless phone calls and more than 10,000 text messages.

Kevin has since had to close his Twitter account and get a new number. He gave this message to Justin: “I'm sorry for meddling into your life but I also think he took it a little too far overboard by literally giving my number to 4.5 million people.”

Ahh revenge is sweet.

Katy rocked up at the Melbourne High School formal, which was held at the Hyatt on Friday night, with Aussie pal Ruby Rose in tow.
